Synopsis: Tell me your story June....
June thought she had it all. She soon found out how wrong she was. Her dreams of finding the good life were washed away when she was dumped on the sandy beaches of Mexico. Now back in Boise as an overeducated server, she doesn't even know where to begin on fixing her life.

But one thing June does know is the new guy at work is one to stay away from. Reece Day catches June’s attention, even if she doesn’t want it. Reece has the uncanny ability to always get in the last word, to get under June’s skin, making her question what she really wants in life.

June quickly realizes that for the first time in her life, she finally has the chance to find herself.

Review: 4.5 Stars - Finding June by Caitlin Kerry is one of those titles that takes you by surprise. With amazing characters and wonderful messages about life and seeing the world, with the troubles you might face as glass half full instead of half empty. It made this story more than a pleasure to read.

June is lost. She has her degree from college and she doesn’t know what to do next. She’s tried to find a job within her degree and nothing seems to fit. She’s worried she’s going to be stuck in one place her whole life. After her boyfriend dumps her, what little hold she thought she had things quickly brings the realization that she was sorely mistaken.

From beginning to end we watch June’s story – troubles, confusion and stress – turn into something other than what she was expecting. She finds things and people when and where she least expects them and in turn she starts to change.

One of the key people who enters her life is Reece Day. Gosh, how does someone even begin to describe Reece? He’s wise, maybe even best to say he’s an old soul. The more I read the more I wanted to know about this incredibly well written character. He has his own scars he’s healing from and yet he has a profound outlook on life. He might have tried to help June see her life differently. He might have helped June learn a few things about herself. He might have been the perfect gentleman through and through…. And even after all of that, he taught me a few things too.

The struggles the characters are facing are realistic and honest. Many readers will be able to relate to the issues because they are a part of pretty much everyone’s life from one point to another. And how can a reader not love a book with amazing realist characters with real problems?

Reece and June are two characters that everyone should meet. Their story was a bumpy yet beautiful one that was over way too soon. Speaking of being offer way too soon… the ending was a tad rough. I had wished for one or two parts to be shared and they weren’t which kind of made the last few pages transition confusing. I had to reread it a couple of times to figure out that I actually hadn’t missed anything and that I was reading the story correctly. I was slightly disappointed with the ending missing one or two… what I would think are important parts to the story. Yet, when all is said and done, I still loved this book!

All in all this is a story that I’m glad I didn’t miss and neither should you. Fans of contemporary romances with amazing characters will also love it! Fans of book boys will fall for Reece just as I did. I think everyone needs a Reece… read and let me know if he’s found a spot in your heart too. Enjoy!
